After engaging multiple Sage 200 WMS ISVs and finding no suitable match, designed and delivered a tailored WMS covering:

  • Packing compliance and ASN requirements such as B&Q.
  • Consignment stock handling and EDI replenishment order processing.
  • Inbound shipments from China, including supplier shipment visibility in transit, structured receiving, and scanner-based warehouse receipt.

Sage internal customisations

Improved efficiency for industry-specific transaction types, such as:

  • Rapid sales order entry.

Delivery method

Warehouse & carriage integration

Enhanced packing-bench controls to reduce errors and integrated with Scurri to:

  • Select the most cost-effective carrier per shipment.
  • Create consignments, print labels and capture tracking.
  • Feed tracking back into internal systems and onward to end customers via integration platforms.
  • Support scan-to-pack accuracy using hand scanners and tablets.

Value delivered

  • Acted as the technical lead and Product Owner working with third parties and the development team, designing end-to-end processes and ensuring delivery aligned to measurable return on investment.
